CYPRESS, Texas (WKRC) - A mother and her daughter were arrested after they allegedly performed illegal "butt injections" on paying customers.

According to PEOPLE, citing KTRK, 56-year-old Consuelo Dal Bo and 18-year-old Isabella Dal Bo were arrested following an undercover operation conducted by both the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Homeland Security Investigations and the Houston Police Department.

Per the publication, neither woman had a valid license to practice medicine and have been charged with misdemeanors for allegedly doing so for paying clients.

According to KRIV, Consuelo Dal Bo faces an additional drug charge for knowingly delivering Alprazolam, which is a controlled substance. Per the outlet, citing court documents, "the women were planning to inject an unlabeled brown liquid" into a customer's butt for $6,000. That customer turned out to be an undercover officer, according to PEOPLE.

KRIV reported that Consuelo Dal Bo also gave the officer a Xanax to relax him before the injection.

According to PEOPLE, citing information from a video report by KRIV, the assistant district attorney of consumer fraud told the station “There is currently no gel, liquid, substance, approved by the FDA for injection into the buttocks to enhance the shape of the buttocks.”

Consuelo Dal Bo spoke with KRIV's reporters and said she wants to become a doctor, going on to claim that she went to medical school in Mexico for three years with the goal of helping people with low self-esteem. The 56-year-old has reportedly performed a similar procedure on clients in both Washington and California, according to the publication.

Both women were released on bond, according to PEOPLE, which reported that their next court date has been scheduled for April 10.
