You’ve probably heard by now that a movie based on hip-hop icon Pharrell Williams’ life will be filming in the Richmond area, as well as central and coastal Virginia, this spring and summer.
In recent news, Halle Bailey has signed on to co-star in the film, according to Variety.
The untitled project is currently looking for local experienced dancers and background artists as extras.
Chad Darnell Casting is currently accepting local submissions for “versatile male and female dancers, ages 18-40 for dance sequences in the film.” The casting company is looking for white, Black, Asian and mixed race dancers.

The casting company is also looking for a Black male age 9-11 who can play the piano, a white male age 20-60 to serve as sheriff, and men of all ethnicities age 50 and older who can sing, in addition to other roles.
The extras will be paid.
