Monday looks to be a very warm day as temperatures climb well into the 80s under partly to mostly sunny skies. The record high in Louisville is 86 degrees. A few showers or storms cannot be ruled out late in the day due to a front nearby.
The front pushes north on Tuesday, leading to a continuation of the warm pattern. Expect partly sunny skies with highs in the low to mid-80s. An isolated shower is possible during the day.
The best chance for more widespread showers and storms will be Tuesday night as a cold front approaches.
Showers and storms will remain possible on Wednesday, especially in the morning and then again during the afternoon and evening. Some of the storms may be strong to severe. Highs will be in the upper 70s to possibly low 80s.
The Storm Prediction Center has highlighted our area for a severe storm chance Wednesday.
Thursday will stay mostly dry with temperatures in the 70s before another chance for some rain arrives Friday or Saturday, but that will depend on the timing of another cold front. Stay tuned.
