The 2024 Met Gala is still weeks away, but Ariana Grande is ready now.
The singer stopped by CinemaCon in Las Vegas alongside her Wicked costar Cynthia Erivo to tease their forthcoming film. Deep in the throes of method dressing, the duo have been mimicking their iconic roles (Grande as Glinda and Erivo as Elphaba) with their outfits for some time now.
Styled by Mimi Cuttrell, Grande channelled her inner Good Witch in a look from Oscar de la Renta. The spring 2024 minidress looks like an oversized flower blooming from her torso—complete with a yellow center and lightweight pink-and-white gradient petals. She accessorized the over-the-top dress with a pair of white pointy-toe pumps and drop earrings.
The singer and actor could just as well walk the Met Gala red carpet today in her floral frock. This year’s theme “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” will highlight garments too fragile to be worn again, and is interwoven with a strong nature element. The evening’s dress code, “The Garden of Time,” will likely beget plenty of elevated florals.
