THEY SAY THEY HAVE FINISHED UP WITH ALL THEIR DANGEROUS DAMAGE ASSESSMENTS, WITH MESSAGES SENT OUT TO LOCAL BUSINESSES TO ASSESS ANY UNINSURED LOSSES. FORTUNATELY, OFFICIALS SAY THAT MOST DAMAGE IS BEING COVERED BY INSURANCE IN THE AREA. HOWEVER, AT THIS TIME, THE COUNTY ISN’T EXPECTED TO MEET THE THRESHOLD FOR ANY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE STATE OR FROM FEMA IN THE TWO WEEKS SINCE THAT EF ONE TORNADO.
