Liz Hurley has revealed her son, Damian, is 'annoyed' by one of the rules she insists he obeys when he's at home with her.

The filmmaker, 22, lives with the Austin Powers star, 58, after moving in with Liz during the Covid pandemic. The pair share a close relationship, with Damian often sharing snaps of the lingerie-clad star on social media as well as directing the actress in a sizzling scene in his new flick, Strictly Confidential.

However, Liz still rules the roost when the pair aren't working as she opened up about her parenting style. Speaking about the rules Damian has to stick to when he's under her roof, she said: "I've always had what you say is a very annoying mommy rule in the house. We're never allowed to put the TV on until 6 p.m. That included lockdown! We've always stuck to that. So we try and work all day, but at 6, we'll go into the TV room."

Despite the TV rule, the pair have "had some amazing times watching television together", as Liz told People magazine: "We really started over lockdown, and I wanted to show Damian a lot of the films that had been part of my growing up. So '80s and '90s films and '70s too in some cases."

Budding director and filmmaker Damian, who hopes to have a huge hit on his hands with his new film which stars his mum, says the pair only talk about work when they're at home. Revealing he still lives with Liz after moving in with the actress during the Covid pandemic, he added: "I never really left. It went straight from COVID into making this film into the edit for this film to the press for this film. My little apartment sits there, sadly.”

Liz, who shares Damian with the late entrepreneur, Steve Bing, was recently forced to hit out at backlash from fans after she starred in a sex scene directed by her son in his new flick, Strictly Confidential.

During the film, Liz's Lily is seen engaging in a romp with a female co-star, Pear Chiravara, who plays Natasha, which left some social media folk a little hot under the collar. Previously, the pair have discussed their close relationship with Damian being the mastermind behind some of Liz's racy social media snaps in her bikinis and lingerie.

Now, the Bedazzled star has hit out at critics and stated she felt more than relaxed on set while filming the infamous scene, despite her son being behind the camera. In another interview with People, Liz claimed people were making a "fuss" because she's "never really done a scene like that", insisting: "Nobody's exploited at all. We all felt comfortable doing it."
