Netflix has announced a London-based Selling Sunset-style show called Buying London, reportedly starring former Made in Chelsea star Rosi Walden, with a release date now confirmed.

Selling Sunset became a hit when the Los Angeles-centric reality TV show focusing on real estate brokers the Oppenheim Group premiered in 2019.

Now, the UK's answer to the show has been announced by Netflix in the form of Buying London, a British reality series following property mogul Daniel Daggers and his "ambitious team of agents at DDRE Global".

The streamer has also confirmed that the series will debut on the platform in May, with a more specific release date to be announced, and has also debuted a first-look clip, which you can watch above.

The official synopsis of the series reads that the team will "take on and challenge London’s luxury property market".

It continues: "The talented team set out to conquer the super prime high-end real estate market from the prestigious streets of Mayfair to the exclusive enclaves of Holland Park as we follow the group as they navigate the intricacies of their personal lives as well as striving to make their mark in the glamorous world of luxury real estate."

None of the other cast have officially been confirmed yet.

Buying London has described as a reality docusoap by showrunner Cam de la Huerta, previously Head of Formats at production company Naked.

It is not the first Selling Sunset-style show to hit the streaming giant since 2019. The franchise has already spawned Selling the OC and Selling Tampa.

Buying London will debut on Netflix in May. Selling Sunset seasons 1-7 are streaming now on Netflix.
