A modern hostel, with amazing kitchen&equipment in the summer with a balcony and a grill.

We had a lovely stay at Hofn HI! We stayed for one night back in November 2023. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean and the staff was wonderful. The lady at the reception shared tips on where to find Northern Lights :) The kitchen size were decent and there's double of appliances (less waiting time).

Cleaner than hotel, everything was squeaky clean including the bathroom and kitchen. Very friendly staff! Looking forward to coming back here

Alena est une hôte très accueillante et sympathique. Les chambres et les douches sont impeccables et les cuisines sont bien équipées. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à Höfn Hi Hostel et nous vous recommandons vivement d’y séjourner.

제가 가본 숙소 중에 가장 최고였습니다.????????
게스트하우스라서 시끄럽거나 더러울까봐 걱정했는데, 상상 이상으로 너무 깨끗하고, kitchen에는 모든 종류의 식기도구와 조미료가 있었습니다.
화장실과 샤워실이 같이 있는데, 샤워실도 진짜 깨끗해서 좋았어요~

무인으로 체크인, 체크아웃을 했습니다.
주인이 깨끗하고 철저하게 관리하는게 느껴졌습니다.
엄청 깨끗하다보니, 나도 깨끗하게 사용해야할 것 같고, 그러다보니 모두가 깨끗하게 이용할 수 있는 곳인 것 같아요~

Overall, a great spot!
Pros:
-Shared kitchen is extremely well-stocked with kitchenware and appliances; three small stoves with ovens, three sinks.
-Laundry available.
-Good ratio of shared bathrooms to bedrooms.
-Convenient to have a small sink in the room.
-Our first night, the host let us know that Northern Lights had been sighted on the hill behind the hostel, so we were able to get outside and see them!

Cons:
-Only one microwave shared among everyone at the hostel.
-Room was small.
-It was inconvenient to take shoes off to walk around the hostel, but this rule helps keep the place clean.

Bardzo czysto. Klimat hostelowy. Świetna organizacja. Przestronna kuchnia i sala jadalna. Dużo łazienek. Da się dogadać po polsku. W mieście sklep, stacja benzynowa. A widok w najbliższej okolicy hostelu zapiera dech. Cudownie. Polecam.

Decent hostel. The kitchen was really crowded during dinner time when we were there.

We were able to see the northern lights from the hill right outside during one of our nights there.

El lugar está muy bien organizado, limpio y muy acogedor. La cocina es enorme, compartida con todo el mundo. Ver como cada persona se prepara comida de sus paises es muy curioso. La gente es bastante respetuosa con la limpieza.
Pedimos la habitación de 4 personas con baño privado y después de un dia largo donde nos mojamos y pasamos mucho frio, no pudo haber sido decisión mejor. Dos literas bastante cómodas y el baño enorme... para una buena ducha caliente.
Muy buen lugar. 100% recomendado

Perfekt geführtes Hostel mit einem straffen Sinn für Sauberkeit, und eine hervorragend ausgestattete Küche.
Gut erreichbar mit dem Auto, und eine sehr schöne und angenehme Umgebung

Large kitchen with many dishes and kitchen tools. Nice common area. Bathrooms looked nice, didn’t use the shower. Quite busy so you have to be patient especially in the kitchen. Wifi in the rooms was not great, but it was strong in the common areas. Looks relatively new, it was clean. Quite pricey though.

Posto molto tranquillo, pulitissimo, camere grandi, bagni spaziosi e puliti, organizzatissimi con una cucina e sala per mangiare molto attrezzate, probabilmente il miglior ostello che abbia trovato in Islanda!

Una experiencia muy negativa con ellos, hice una reserva para dos noches a través de Booking que nunca me llegó confirmación. Después de la primera noche me llamaron para ver si iba a ir, porque si no no me habría ni enterado, ellos derivaron el problema a Booking que tampoco me ayudó nada. Les he escrito varias veces para ver si al menos solo me cobran una noche de las dos ya que al menos a la segunda ya pude decirles que no iba y no se dignan en contestar. No se como sera el hostal pero desde luego no lo recomiendo, mejor quedarse con gente mas amable y que tenga un poco de consideración hacia el cliente.
