New York State Police are looking for information on a fatal hit-and-run crash in Queensbury on Tuesday night.

Police responded around 8:40 p.m., to the intersection of Main Street and Big Boom Road in Queensbury for the reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle suffering from severe injuries. According to police, the car was witnessed fleeing the scene and is described as "possibly a dark-colored sedan with front end or undercarriage damage." The 47-year-old local woman struck was rushed to Glens Falls Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, according to police.
