Motorcyclist killed in Orange City crash Sunday morning
Orange City police are investigating after a motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning.According to the Orange City Police Department, the crash happened around 10:14 a.m. at the intersection of Saxon Boulevard and Medical Plaza Drive. Police said a 2022 Ducati motorcycle traveling east on Saxon crashed into a 2023 Mitsubishi SUV as the SUV's driver attempted to take a left turn from the westbound lanes of Saxon into a restaurant parking lot.The motorcyclist was thrown from his bike during the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. Police identified him as 22-year-old Matthew Manzur of Deltona.The Mitsubishi's driver suffered minor injuries.
