In a battle between two top-tier teams in the NJ.com Top-20 rankings, No. 4 Don Bosco Prep roared to an 11-3 victory over No. 3 DePaul in Ramsey.

Nick Becker and Junzen Sarza led the Ironmen at the plate in the victory. Both players tallied two hits and drove in two runs to help Don Bosco Prep (8-1) win its eighth game of the season.

Nicholas Bumbaco and Dennis Mulhearn both knocked in two runs as well for the Ironmen, while Michael Hanna collected two hits and an RBI during the victory.

All of that run support was plenty enough for starter Jason Kuhn, who went 5 1/3 innings for Don Bosco Prep, allowing three unearned runs on four hits and four walks with 11 strikeouts to earn the win on the mound.

Evan Stavrou racked up four strikeouts during his 1 2/3 scoreless innings of relief for the Ironmen.

Derek Brand recorded a 3-for-4 day at the plate for DePaul (6-2) and Maxwell Zisa had an RBI during the contest for the Spartans.
