The indulgent sweet treat has a traditional 10-inch stone baked pizza base topped with cream cheese, chocolate chips, cookie dough and Mini Eggs.

Supermarket bosses say the pizzas will be prepared fresh in-store every morning for customers to pick-up throughout the day from the Market Street pizza counter.

They added: "The customer favourite is ideal for those that have both a sweet and savoury tooth.

"Whether customers are hosting an Easter extravaganza at home, or fancy a sweet treat in the lead-up to the celebratory spring weekend, Morrisons Easter Pizza can be served with a selection of seasonal goodies to accompany their spread.

"Why not add The Best Chocolate Orange Hot Cross Buns, The Best Belgian White & Blonde Egg, and an Easter Bunny Biscuit to the spread, all from Morrisons wider Easter range with prices starting from £1."

The Easter Pizzas are priced at £3.50 each or two for £5.

But you'll have to be quick if you want to get your hands on one, as they're only available in store until April 7.

And shoppers have already been sharing their delight after getting a slice of the action.

Sharing a picture of it in store, one foodie said: "They are back to Morrison’s again!"

Another gushed: "Oh my goddd I want."

I tried 10 kids Easter eggs - my family went wild for a supermarket buy under £3

A third revealed: "We had this on Saturday. Was lovely treat for me and my kids. I also added chocolate spread to add more calories."

A fourth echoed: "I saw these yesterday the kids would love it."

"We need to go Morrisons", insisted a fifth.

While someone else wrote: "These look incred."

But not everybody is convinced by the sweet take on a savoury classic.

"Tried these before, was so disappointed in them", fumed one person.

"Didn't taste right at all, just a combination that unfortunately didn't work."

Someone else chimed in: "Too sweet and strange tasting for me, wish they'd do a special Easter savoury pizza."

A third joked: "Looks like the Easter Bunny had an accident."

"Used to work in Morrisons, tried it wasn't keen", admitted a fourth.
