A new French-style bakery is coming to the Highlands, according to Louisville Business First.Patisserie Francaise Louisville will be located on Bardstown Road, near the Highlands Mart and the restaurant La Chasse. The new pastry shop is owned by Charles Reed, who also ran Henry’s Place and Melba’s Culinary Canvas. Reed also operated a candy company, Cates Candies Inc., in Colorado, for several years.Patisserie Francaise Louisville will offer a variety of pastries, cakes, croissants, and other desserts.The new pastry shop is part of a growing contingent of new baked goods establishments coming to the Highlands/Germantown area.
