KIMBERLY, Idaho (KUTV) — One child was killed and two adults were hospitalized after Idaho State Police said a driver veered into oncoming traffic and slammed into a semi-truck.
They said the juvenile, whose age was not specified, was in a child safety seat and succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
Police responded to the crash at approximately 3:12 p.m. on Sunday on eastbound State Highway 50 at milepost 1.7 in Twin Falls County.

They said a Honda was traveling westbound on the road when the driver, a 39-year-old woman from Roseville, California, crossed the center line into eastbound lanes and collided with a Freightliner semi-truck.
She was airlifted to a hospital along with another adult passenger, a 35-year-old man from Butte, Montana. Police said both had been wearing seatbelts.
The semi-truck driver, a 47-year-old man from Twin Falls, Idaho, was wearing a seatbelt and not hospitalized.
Both directions of travel were closed for approximately six hours while officials cleared the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
