Roman Josi, Filip Forsberg come up big as Nashville Predators take down Calgary
Second-period goals from Filip Forsberg and Roman Josi were the difference as the Nashville Predators took down Calgary 4-1 at Scotiabank Saddledome in Alberta on Thursday.
The Predators (4-6-1) snapped a two-game skid to win for just the second time in their past nine games.
Mark Jankowski scored a first-period goal for his first goal of the season, sparking a flurry of goals over the next three minutes of game time against Calgary (5-4). Forsberg made it 2-0 just 59 seconds into the second period, and Josi’s power play goal came 88 seconds later.
Matt Duchene scored an empty-net goal in the final minute.
Backup goalie Kevin Lankinen got the win in net for the Predators.
