Pet of the Week: Popsicle

LAREDO, TX. (KGNS) - In this week’s edition of Pet of the Week, the Laredo Animal Care Services introduces us to someone that we often think about in the summer and that’s popsicle!

Popsicle is a two-year-old chihuahua mix who was rescued from the streets of Laredo.

While she is ready for adoption, animal experts say that she will undergo a sterilization procedure.

Representatives at the animal care services said that she is sweet just like a popsicle and is ready for a new place to call home.

If popsicle is not the pooch for you, the animal care services will be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, May 4 at the shelter located on 5202 Maher Avenue.

Officials with the animal care services shelter will be on site from noon to 4 p.m. with all the pets that are up for adoption.
