Man sentenced to 18 years in prison following fentanyl overdose death of 20-year-old woman

A man who was charged with second-degree murder following an overdose death that occurred in September 2022 in Johnson City has been sentenced to 18 years in prison, according to officials.

Zachary Tyler Bobadilla, 20, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder on Thursday, according to the Tennessee First Judicial District Attorney's Office.

According to officials, the victim was a 20-year-old woman who was found dead in the 1300 block of Seminole Drive in Johnson City on September 9, 2022.
