Eastbound Donald Ross Road at Bascule Bridge over Intracoastal to close for more than a week
Eastbound Donald Ross Road will be closed over the Intracoastal Waterway for bridge maintenance starting Wednesday.
The closure will be for about 10 days.
There will be single lane closures near Port Circle and the Azure driveway entrance as well.
Drivers will be rerouted to Alternate A1A to head eastbound at PGA Boulevard and then northbound at US Highway 1.
Also in Jupiter, more closures are set to impact drivers' commute around Indiantown Road.
Starting Tuesday night, the northbound lane of Island Way and 68th Terrace North will be closed.
Drivers will be allowed to go through from the left turn lane, and the closure is expected to last until June.
The eastbound right-turn lane east of Island Way is also closed through June.
Eastbound Indiantown Road will continue to have two lanes blocked this week from Florida's Turnpike to Central Boulevard, each Sunday through Thursday between of 9 pm. and 6 a.m.
One to two westbound lanes, from 67th Road North to the Turnpike, will see closures during those times as well.
All of this work is to widen Indiantown Road and implement other improvements near the Interstate-95 northbound off-ramp, including upgrading the wrong-way driving countermeasures and widening the bridge over the c-18 canal.
The Indiantown Road is a nearly $18 million project. It’s projected to be done in the spring of 2025.
