KRV Little League Junior baseball team ready to swing into action

This season the Kern River Valley Little League will be represented with a traveling Junior Baseball team.

The team consists of 15 players. The team make up as follows: Qwintin Pariseau, Ryder Pappas, Jayden Davidson, Braeden Ege, Parker Gannaway, Mark Imbelloni, Eli Liske, Levi Bell, Roman Avila, Cooper Bryski, Dakotha Taylor, Isaac Sporkin, Scotty Harper, John Carruthers, and David Sharpe. They will be coached by Brett Ege and Eric Liske. 

Their current schedule is slated for them to play 12 games. This will include playing doubleheaders each game day. They will begin their season on April 13 when they travel to Lancaster to take on the WLLL Dodgers. First pitch in game one will be 11 a.m. Second game is scheduled for 2 p.m. They will play at 3334 K Ave. in Lancaster.

Then it will be five consecutive Saturdays through May 18th to finish out their games. On April 20 they will play Cal City I in Cal City. The game one will start at 9 a.m. with game two starting at 12 noon. The field is located at 10223 Cal City Blvd.

One week later they will play at home for the first time. Kern Valley will entertain the WLLL Indians. Game time for the first one is 11 a.m. The second game starts at 2 p.m.

On May 4, Kern V alley will once again be at home as they face off with Tehachapi. Game one will have its first pitch at 11 a.m. Second game is slated for 2 p.m.

For the third consecutive week another home doubleheader is at hand. Kern Valley will take on Cal City I. Game one will start at 11 a.m. Game two will begin at 2 p.m. 

The final week of the season will be May 18 when they go on the road. This time the team will make the trip to Boron to finish up the regular season. Game one will kick off at 11 a.m. The second game will start at 2 p.m. The field is located at 26900 John St. in Boron.

Home games will be played on the jayvee baseball field at Kern Valley High School.
