‘Fortnite’ Is Doing Another ‘Star Wars’ Event, Here Are The Remaining Skins It Needs

Fortnite has just revealed that they are doing another Star Wars event in the game around May the Fourth, Star Wars day. It kicks off a day early, May 3, and Fortnite has just posted the following teaser for it online:

The event will be the first one that spans Fortnite’s new sub-genres, LEGO Fortnite and Fortnite Festival, along with the normal battle royale game. But if it’s doing an event, that means new skins, and I mean, what big Star Wars characters are left at this point? The list of existing Fortnite Star Wars skins is massive. We have:

• From the OG trilogy: Luke, Leia, Han, Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Boba Fett
• From the Prequels: Darth Maul, Clone Troopers, Padme Amidala, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan
• From the Disney trilogy: Rey, Finn, Kylo Ren, Sith Trooper, Zorii Bliss
• From The Mandalorian/Book of Boba Fett: The Mandalorian (and Grogu), Fennec Shand, Krrsantan
• From Ahsoka: Ahsoka

So I mean, are we not running out of major figures here? Who is even left that’s a major skin? Some guesses:

• Chewbacca (OG, there are reports a Wookie bowcaster will be in the event, so he seems likely)

Yeah okay so I did end up thinking of a lot in the end, didn’t I? I mean, Star Wars is a huge series. The major characters in almost all eras of the movies and shows are pretty much covered at this point. I think the biggest gap is probably the Rebels/Ahsoka gang, as they have appeared both in animation and live action at this point, and the only one to get a skin is Ahsoka. Given the date here, I am not sure if there is going to be a specific tie-in to a specific era. Star Wars Outlaws is the game out in August. The Acolyte is out in June, so that’s closest. Still, odd to sell skins for something that isn’t even out for a month as no one would have any attachment to the characters. So I doubt it.

Still, should be interesting. I’d guess maybe three new skins, and Chewbacca seems the most likely. Stay tuned.
