All clear given after potential bomb threat at Little Creek

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The Navy has given the all clear after a potential bomb threat was received at Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek in Virginia Beach.

They say they received reports of the potential threat at 11:07 a.m., and the all clear was given at 12:11 p.m. after security on the base completed its investigation. Normal operations have resumed.

The Navy asked those on base to remain clear of the bridge area as they investigated.

It’s still unclear how the potential threat materialized.
