The Frozen actress, 43, and the Armchair Expert podcast host, 49, often share an inside look at their family’s fun-filled moments in their stunning Southern California house on social media. The Hollywood power couple — who have been married for 11 years — share the abode with their two daughters, Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 9. After reportedly purchasing the historic 1922 house for $4.3 million in 2017, according to the Los Angeles Times, Bell revealed in 2018 that they were giving the space a full makeover with the help of interior designer Amber Lewis. Lewis is known for her chic, organic-modern interiors, which often feature black-framed windows, lots of layered textures and warm woods — all of which are on full display in the stars' home. (She also has a product line available at Lulu & Georgia.) The home was originally designed by architect Arthur Kelly, who also created the famous Playboy Mansion. In 2019, Bell referred to the property as her and Shepard’s “dream home” during an interview with Architectural Digest. She also opened up about the renovation process and revealed it didn’t exactly go as planned. “We thought we weren’t going to have to soup-to-nuts everything,” she told AD. “And with most design projects, you realize something is wrong. So we’ve been dealing with all of that. But we’re doing it with a smile because we’re still really excited to have bought our dream home.” Once the renovation was finally finished, the couple both took to Instagram to reveal snippets of the rooms inside their chic, laid-back space. 01 of 08 Driveway and Exterior Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard show off their home. Instagram One quality Bell loves about her home is that the “kitchen and living room is one big room,” she told AD in 2019. In an Instagram post shared on Jan. 9, Shepard revealed how spacious the room is while documenting his wife opening presents on Christmas morning. Bell reveals the French doors in her living room. Instagram On Dec. 1, 2023, Bell unveiled more of the room’s amenities, like the fireplace and double french doors, in a funny Instagram Reel. In the caption of the Instagram Reel, she said she works at a shared “circular table desk” where her office shenanigans often get caught on video.
