Spider-Man, X-Men, Avengers, and all of Marvel's July 2024 solicitations revealed

Marvel Comics is setting itself up for one heck of a big summer with the release of the publisher's full July 2024 solicitations, which are coming in hot with some major relaunches and crossovers.

First up, July is when we'll finally get a look at the new X-Men line, with the adjectiveless X-Men title relaunching with a new #1 alongside a brand new solo title for Jean Grey/Phoenix, a new relaunch of X-Force with Forge in charge, and a relaunch of the cult classic title NYX with Laura Kinney/Wolverine and Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel in the lead. 

Meanwhile, writer Chris Claremont will continue his run of flashback X-Men stories with Wolverine: Deep Cut, which fills in a missing moment from X-Men history dating back to the '80s.

And of course, July also brings more of Marvel's massive Blood Hunt crossover, in which vampires threaten to destroy the entire Marvel Universe by plunging it into eternal night, roping in pretty much all of Marvel's major heroes - including the potential death of Morbius the Living Vampire.

Then there's another crossover in the works for July, this one centering on Thanos as he attempts to retrieve the Infinity Stones from their current bearers across a series of annuals starring characters such as Thor, Ms. Marvel, Spider-Man, and more.

But that's just scratching the surface of another packed month of releases. Marvel is pulling out all the stops for a blockbuster July, as seen in its now fully released solicitations, below. But before you dig into the whole thing, we've got a few picks for the big books of the month.

Naturally, we're singling out X-Men #1 as the initial flagship book of the X-line's relaunch. Along with X-Men, July brings new titles for Phoenix, X-Force, and NYX. And we're also highlighting Aliens Vs. Avengers, which is exactly how it sounds - Earth's Mightiest Heroes fighting a horde of Xenomorphs.

And speaking of aliens (of a totally different kind) Black Widow: Venomous #1 will continue the story of Natasha Romanoff and her new Venom offshoot symbiote. Meanwhile, Elektra returns to the spotlight as a second Daredevil in Daredevil: Woman Without Fear #1, and writer Jason Aaron launches a new Namor limited series.
