'Harry Potter' star Warwick Davis' children pay tribute to mom Samantha who died at 53, Internet says 'sad loss for lovely family'

LONDON, UK: Warwick Davis' children offer a heartfelt tribute to their late mother, Samantha, following her unexpected passing on March 24.

Their paths first crossed during the filming of the 1988 blockbuster 'Willow,' where Warwick and Samantha connected.

The enduring couple welcomed two children into their lives, Harrison and Annabelle.

“Her love and happiness carried us through our whole lives,” the children remembered Samantha.

They added, “Mum is our best friend and we're honoured to have received a love like hers.”

Warwick affectionately referred to Samantha as his "favorite human."

“Her passing has left a huge hole in our lives as a family. I miss her hugs,” he said in a statement to BBC.

Warwick continued, and called Sammy the “most trusted confidant and an ardent supporter of everything I did in my career.”

“She was a unique character, always seeing the sunny side of life, she had a wicked sense of humor and always laughed at my bad jokes,” the 54-year-old added.

Davis remembered having her wife beside him empowering him, "It was like having a super-power."

"Without Sammy, there would have been no Tenable quiz show, no Willow series. No Idiot Abroad Series 3."
