A 52-year-old man was shot and killed near the State Capitol building in Lincoln on Tuesday.Around noon, officers responded to 11th and G streets for a reported shooting, Lincoln police said.Authorities said that the person responsible, identified as 53-year-old Jacob Mulloy, called 911 to report that he had shot another man inside an apartment.The victim was found dead in the residence with a gunshot wound to the head, investigators said.Mulloy was taken into custody and a handgun was recovered at the scene, authorities said. A 52-year-old man was shot and killed near the State Capitol building in Lincoln on Tuesday.
