Major retailers issue update on store opening hours this Easter

Are you are looking to pick up some last minute Easter bits and bobs and are you wondering what stores are open and when? Look no further.

Easter falls on Sunday, March 31, Good Friday is March 29 and Easter Monday is April 1. Shops will tend to remain open on Good Friday and operate to their normal opening hours and all but a few will close Easter Sunday. 

Tesco: 

A spokesperson for Tesco confirmed: “For the Easter weekend, Tesco stores nationwide will operate to their usual Friday and Saturday opening hours of 7/8/9am to 9/10pm. Select stores will be closed on Sunday, March 31  while all stores will open Monday, April 1 with adjusted opening hours.”

Aldi: 

A spokesperson for Aldi confirmed: “Aldi will operate to their normal opening hours on Good Friday and Saturday of 8am-10pm. Stores nationwide will remain closed on Easter Sunday and reopen on Monday from 8am-10pm.”

Lidl: 

A spokesperson for Lidl confirmed: “Lidl will operate to their normal opening hours on Good Friday and Saturday of 7/8am-10pm. Stores nationwide will be open on Easter Sunday from 9am-6pm. On Monday stores will be open from 9am-9pm. ”

Dunnes: 

A spokesperson for Dunnes confirmed: “Dunnes will operate to their normal opening hours on Good Friday and Saturday of 7am-10pm. Stores nationwide will be closed on Easter Sunday and will reopen on Monday from 10am-6pm."

SuperValu: 

A spokesperson for SuperValu confirmed: “SuperValu will operate to their normal opening hours across the weekend. Stores nationwide will be open from 7/8am-10/11pm all weekend including Easter Sunday and Good Friday."

Customers are advised to check their local stores for specific opening times and changes.
