Melissa Etheridge was all smiles while hitting the red carpet before presenting at the 2024 CMT Music Awards.

The 62-year-old singer hit the red carpet in an all-black look before the festivities got under way at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas.

She joins Amber Riley, Billy Bob Thornton, Carly Pearce, Cody Alan, Cody Johnson, Emily Osment, Emma Roberts, Gayle King, James Van Der Beek, Jane Seymour, Jelly Roll, Max Thieriot, Megan Maroney, Mickey Guyton, Minnie Driver, Montana Jordan, Parmalee and Paul Walter Hauser as presenters.

Etheridge stepped out in a silky black blouse under a unique dark purple and black suit coat for the event.

She accessorized with a black cowboy hat, an ornate silver necklace and several rings as her blonde locks flowed down over her shoulders.

She also wore a shiny silver belt with black flared-leg pants and black boots to complete her look on the red carpet. 

Etheridge found success with her first three albums - 1988's eponymous debut, 1989's Brave and Crazy and 1992's Never Enough.

Her breakthrough came with 1993's Yes I Am, which included the hits Come To My Window, If I Wanted To and I'm The Only One, which all cracked the Top 40.

The album spent a whopping 138 weeks on the Billboard 200 album charts, and was certified 6x platinum by the RIAA. 

The 2024 CMT Awards are finally here with a slew of fan favorite artists set to be recognized this evening in Austin, Texas.  

Lainey Wilson, Kelsea Ballerini, Megan Moroney, Jelly Roll, and Cody Johnson top the list with each earning three nominations. 

Trisha Yearwood will be the recipient of the first-ever June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award.

The fan-voted award show will air live from the Moody Center on April 7.

This year's edition will be hosted once again by country icon Kelsea Ballerini, who served as host for the last three ceremonies with Kane Brown, but this year's she's hosting solo.

On top of hosting, Kelsea has been named as one of the night's performers. Jason Aldean, Dasha, Trisha Yearwood, Sam Hunt and more will also be hitting the stage.

There will also be a performance paying tribute to the late Toby Keith featuring Brooks & Dunn, Sammy Hagar, Lainey Wilson, and more. Toby's band will be backing the performance.

Billy Bob Thornton, Emma Roberts, James Van Der Beek, Jane Seymour, Mickey Guyton, and Jelly Roll are among the all-star presenters hitting the stage.
