Two bodies have been found in the search for missing Kansas mothers Veronica Butler and Jillian Kelley.
It comes as the search for the two women, who have been missing for weeks, still wages on. Butler and Kelley were discovered to be missing after their car was discovered abandoned on the side of the road on March 30.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation tweeted the update on the case from their X page. Taking to the platform on Sunday, they posted: "Today, the OSBI [Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation], @FBI, and the Texas County Sheriff's Office recovered two deceased persons in rural Texas Count."
They added: "Both individuals will be transported to the Office of the Oklahoma Chief Medical Examiner to determine identification and cause and manner of death."
Police have not confirmed if the bodies belong to the two missing Kansas women.

The mothers were traveling together from Hugoton, Kansas to pick up Butler's children in Eva, Oklahoma from a children's birthday party but the women never reached their destination KVIA-TV reported.
Their vehicle was later found abandoned on a rural highway in Texas County, Oklahoma, about 11 miles (18 km) south of Elkhart, Kansas, on the Oklahoma-Kansas state line, three miles short of where they were supposed to pick up their children.
A person close to Butler told ABC7 shortly after she and Kelley went missing; "Really hard to deal with knowing that someone I've been in contact with since I was 16-years-old [is missing], its been real difficult."
The latest update in the case comes after four people were arrested and charged with murder and kidnapping in connection with the two women's disappearances.
The suspects include the grandmother of one of the women's children. On Saturday, Tad Bert Cullum, 43, Tifany Machel Adams, 54, Cole Earl Twombly, 50, and Cora Twombly, 44, were taken into custody, according to an announcement from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
All four suspects face charges of two counts of First-Degree Murder, two counts of Kidnapping, and one count of Conspiracy to Commit Murder in the First Degree. The quartet were subsequently detained at the Texas County Jail.
Adams is the grandmother of Butler's children and Cullum is her partner, NewsNation reports. Cole and Cora Combly have been in a relationship for eight years and the pair are Facebook friends with Adams.
