Singer and actor Doh Kyung-soo, better known as D.O. from K-pop boy band EXO, is set to release his third extended play, “Blossom.”

Company Soosoo, the agency handling D.O. since his departure from SM Entertainment, revealed the cover for the idol’s third mini album on their official [Social Media Platform]. The cover features a small figure made out of electronic parts (e.g., wires, circuits) with the words “성장 (Blossom)” placed above it.

According to an article from South Korean media outlet OSEN, the EP will feature six songs, including the title track “Mars.” “Blossom” follows D.O.’s second EP, “Expectations,” which was released in September 2023 by SM Entertainment before he joined Company Soosoo in October 2023.

Company Soosoo is an agency established by D.O. along with his longtime managing director Nam Kyung-soo, who also used to be part of SM Entertainment. D.O.’s departure from SM Entertainment to his own label follows a growing trend among K-pop idols. Other idols who have established their own agencies for solo activities include EXO’s Baekhyun and Blackpink members Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo.

Beyond his music career, D.O. is also known for his roles in K-dramas like “100 Days My Prince” and “Brand Prosecutor.” He has starred in films such as “Pure Love,” “My Annoying Brother,” “Room No.7,” “Swing Kids,” and his most recent film, the 2023 survival drama “The Moon.”
