Birth Choice hosts fundraising banquet in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — A local organization that meets the needs of expectant mothers and their families holds a very important fundraiser.

The Birth Choice Clinic held their annual fundraising banquet at Northside Assembly of God Church this evening, April 18.

The banquet will benefit their ministry to women and men facing unexpected pregnancies in Madison and Gibson counties as well as their mobile clinic ministry that serves five additional counties around West Tennessee.

Birth Choice’s goal is to raise 200-thousand dollars from the banquet.

“Part of the things that we do is we offer pregnancy support to anybody this is pregnant and having concerns about that. So we offer ultrasound, we offer a variety of medical services…Early prenatal care, we help folks to sign up for TennCare as well, along with teaching parenting classes and several other things,” said Brent Lambert CEO of Birth Choice.

Lambert says since Birth Choice does not charge for any of its services, their clinics are run solely on the donations of generous individuals, businesses, and churches.
