Foxboro Fire helps out Mansfield

If you see a Foxboro ladder truck in Mansfield in the next few weeks, there’s a good reason. Mansfield ladder truck 37 is undergoing repair work that is expected to last multiple weeks. As a result, the Mansfield Fire Department is using Foxboro Fire’s ladder 25 as a loaner. Groups trained with the ladder truck although it’s extremely similar to the vehicle that is under repair. Mansfield Fire expressed thanks to Foxboro Fire for the loaner.

It’s National Library Week

Wednesday was National Library Outreach Day and Thursday is Take Action for Libraries Day. Check your local library to see what events they created to celebrate the week.

Attleboro police warn of scam

The Attleboro Police Association is not engaged in a telemarketing fundraising campaign at this time, so if you receive any phone calls or requests for donations it isn’t from them. “It appears it is a scam,” the association says.
