HOLMEN, Wis. (WXOW) - The Holmen Softball team took on Onalaska at Viking Elementary on Thursday afternoon.
Holmen got out to an early 1-0 lead early on in the game thanks to a Isabelle Hawkins single. Then in the second inning, Macy Kline grounded out that brought a run in to make it 2-0. The Vikings added on three more runs later in the game but the pitching was also stellar. Marci Jacobson started and ended the game in the circle for Holmen. Jacobson struck out 6, gave up 3 hits, and one earned run.
Holmen takes this one over Onalaska 5-1.
