CMPD investigating armed robbery involving BRINKS truck outside Charlotte QuikTrip

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating an armed robbery involving a BRINKS armored truck on Monday.

The armed robbery happened outside a Charlotte QuikTrip along North Tryon Street.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police told Queen City News officers responded to the location for the reports of an armed robbery Monday afternoon.

No word on whether any suspects were taken into custody or if any injuries have been reported.
