Daniel Radcliffe and Stephen Colbert Make Up Elaborate Lies About Puppies in Dog Adoption Segment

Daniel Radcliffe and Stephen Colbert are lying about dogs for a good cause!

The English actor, 34, appeared on the special segment of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert called "Rescue Dog Rescue," on Thursday, April 18, in which Colbert, 59, teams up with North Shore Animal League America and a celebrity to tell hilariously "flattering" lies about rescue dogs in the hopes of finding them homes.

According to the comedian in a video clip posted to Instagram and YouTube, every dog that has ever been featured on "Rescue Dog Rescue" has gone on to find a forever home.

Radcliffe, who is currently starring in Merrily We Roll Along on Broadway, joined the cause and told outlandish fibs about cute dogs on Thursday night.

"Dakota knows how to use the toilet just like a human," the Harry Potter star said about one brown furry friend. "She grabs her phone then disappears for 40 minutes."

"Denise is what we call in the theater world a triple threat," he said about cute black dog. "She can sing, dance and fire a crossbow."

"She's actually not a great actor but I would not say that to her face, because, you know, the crossbow," Radcliffe joked with a straight face.

The final dog that the Miracle Workers actor introduced was called "Harry Pupper."

"He is a powerful wizard. I'm sorry, I read that wrong, he's a powerful whizzer," the actor — who starred as the famous fictional wizard in eight franchise films in his youth — said, of the tan-colored canine.

Meanwhile, Colbert introduced a white and gray dog named Agnus who he joked was an "intimacy coordinator" and an elder black dog he said was "a Michelin star chef," among other four-legged friends.
