PUT INTO PRACTICE IN REAL SITUATIONS. RECOGNITION FOR THE HEROIC EFFORTS OF TWO MCDONALD’S EMPLOYEES IN GALT. THEY JUMPED INTO ACTION AND HELPED SAVE A CUSTOMER’S LIFE. HERE’S WHAT HAPPENED TODAY. COSUMNES FIRE CREWS PRESENTED THEM WITH A CHALLENGE COIN AND A CERTIFICATE OF COMMENDATION FOR THEIR WORK. SO BO HERE STOPS IN EVERY MORNING FOR COFFEE. AND LAST MONTH, HILLARY CROWNOVER WENT TO GET HIS USUAL ORDER, HIS CUP OF COFFEE, AND BY THE TIME SHE CAME BACK, BO WAS ON THE FLOOR AND HE WASN’T BREATHING. HILLARY IMMEDIATELY STARTED CPR. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IN MY LIFE I’VE DONE CPR, AND THE FIRST TIME I DID IT ON MY DAD AND HE PASSED. SO I SAID I WAS NEVER GOING TO DO IT AGAIN. AND SO THIS I JUST THINK IT’S LIKE THE WORLD’S WAY OF LETTING ME KNOW THAT IT DOESN’T ALWAYS END LIKE THAT, BECAUSE HE’S ALIVE AND KICK IN. AND I’VE SEEN HIM. HE BROUGHT ME CHEESECAKE, WHICH IS MY FAVORITE. BUT YEAH, HE’S DOING ABSOLUTELY GREAT. SO I THINK IT WAS JUST THE WORLD’S WAY TO LET ME KNOW THAT IT’S OKAY. I THINK THE WORST CHALLENGE IS WHEN EMOTIONS ARE HIGH AS AND I COULD IMAGINE IF YOU’RE NOT TRAINED FOR IT, IT’S A VERY SCARY SITUATION AND JUST CALM PEOPLE DOWN ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO LISTEN TO THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT I’M GIVING. HILLARY KNEW CPR FROM HER TIME SPENT IN THE MILITARY. WHAT
