LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Police arrested a suspect near the Las Vegas Strip after they allegedly brandished a gun at multiple vehicles in the northwest valley on Saturday.

Police said the vehicle was seen in the northwest Las Vegas valley brandishing a gun at “multiple vehicles in multiple locations.”

Through the use of Metro’s Fusion center and cameras, police located the vehicle near Sahara Avenue and the I-15.

Police attempted to stop the vehicle however, the driver failed to stop, resulting in police using a pursuit intervention tactic, also known as a PIT maneuver, according to Metro police.

There were no injuries to officers, the suspect, or any citizens, police said.

All southbound lanes on Las Vegas Boulevard were closed after Liset Way.
