High pressure will slide off to our east today, making room for an area of low pressure to pass to our northwest through Quebec. The low will drag a cold front through the region from west to east this afternoon accompanied by some rain to round off the weekend. Rain will push into western Maine by late morning early afternoon before reaching the Bangor area later this afternoon and evening. The Bulk of the showers will begin to dissipate just after midnight.
