The Oregon Ducks have added a fifth player to their recruiting haul for the Class of 2025.
Wide receiver Cooper Perry, hailing out of Notre Dame Prep in Arizona, is headed to Eugene. Perry announced his commitment to Oregon on Wednesday, marking the second consecutive year that Dan Lanning and company have earned a commitment from the top-rated player in the state of Arizona.
Last season, five-star edge rusher Elijah Rushing joined the Ducks by way of Salpointe Catholic in Arizona.
“Oregon is a place where you’re going to get developed,” Perry told local media gathered at his announcement in the Phoenix area. “Whether that’s in year one, year two, year three. I’m going to go in and work for it. That’s not something that’s given to you. It’s something you have to work for.”
Perry, a four-star recruit according to 247Sports, joins fellow four-star wideout Dallas Wilson from Florida in the 2025 class for the Ducks. That class also includes California quarterback Akili Smith, Jr., California edge rusher Matthew Johnson, and Florida offensive lineman Chavez Thompson.
