BOCA RATON, Fla. (CBS12) — A motorcyclist died in an overnight crash on Interstate-95 South in Boca Raton on Friday.
The motorcyclist was riding at a high speed down the left lane of I-95 when he turned in front of a Chrysler Pacifica van traveling in the middle lane, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The Kawasaki Ninja collided with the left, rear bumper of the van, sending the motorcyclist skidding off his bike, FHP reported. The 26-year-old motorcyclist would later die from his injuries.

The crash happened on southbound I-95, just passed Exit 50, at Congress Avenue in Boca Raton.
Highway Patrol troopers were dispatched to the scene just after midnight.
First responders closed off the three left lanes until just after 6 a.m., which are all now reopened.
