An 'amazing' eye massager that relieves dry and puffy skin and also plays music has been slashed in price on Amazon.

The RENPHO Eyeris 1 Eye Massager with Heat & Bluetooth Music has been reduced in price, down from £81.99 to £50.39 - a total saving of £31.60. The product description tells people to"wear it for 15 minutes before going to bed every night, to be "totally relaxed and enjoy a better sweet dream".

This eye massager has built-in heat pads that will reduce eye strain and puffiness. You can also play some relaxing music through the device which adds to the spa-like treatment with the massager.

Over 100 of these massagers have been purchased in the last month with an average rating of 4.4 stars out of five. Over 22,000 reviews have been written on Amazon with people praising its ability to 'relax and refresh' the face.

One happy customer wrote: "Bought as a gift for my son. The box was hardly unwrapped and he tried it immediately. He is amazed. It is comfortable and has felt immediate results. My husband tried it too, and he was surprised. Will buy again. Works so well."

Another said: "Loved it in terms of the heat, pressure and vibration to help me relax. Definitely sleep better. Comes with two relaxing short sound clips that loops. Having the Bluetooth connection is a bonus to play your own music."

A third added: "So pleased with these, very relaxing, takes a bit of getting use to the sound of the vibration but if you can get past that well worth it. Great value for money. I spend all day on a computer and have dry eye and I do feel these have helped."

And a fourth wrote: "I’ve had this product for over a year now, and have used it countless times. In fact, I would really hate to be without it now.

"On first use I didn’t like it, and thought it did nothing for me, second use, thought it was ok, by the third time I started coming round thinking it was helping a little. It just takes awhile to get used to the sensations, but once you do, it’s incredibly helpful and relaxing. I get a lot of tension headaches, and using this helps prevent them turning in to migraines. So give it a good chance.

"It’s not perfect, the music is annoying, and doesn’t last the full cycle, I prefer the water sounds, but they only last a couple of minutes and then the music comes back on, so I generally turn the sound off. The buttons are irritating, trying to change the options whilst wearing it normally results in selecting things I don’t want and having to go through it all multiple times.

"The charge doesn’t last as long now, but I think that’s normal for anything with a battery, over time. Overall, amazing! I use it all the time, often reaching for it before taking painkillers if I have a tension headache. I’d struggle without it, and will definitely be replacing it when necessary. Very much worth the money. I highly recommend!"

One person notes that the maximum volume on the massager is "barely audible" but they weren't sure if "it was a fault or because it's supposed to be relaxing". They added: "Want sure about pressure on my eyes but omg I am an insomniac and I am practically asleep buy the end of the program.

"One drawback (not sure if it’s a fault or because it’s supposed to be relaxing) maximum volume is barely audible- guns n’roses as a whisper don’t seem right some how!"
