Two Raleigh County men facing felony charges in Fayette County

Both men were arraigned today in Raleigh County and remanded to Southern Regional Jail to await court proceedings.

FAYETTE COUNTY, W.Va. (WVVA) - Two Raleigh County men are facing felony charges following an overdose death in Fayette County.

According to Fayette County Sheriff Mike Fridley, Bryan K. Griffith, 47, and William K. Foley, 28, both of Bradley, are both charged with the felony offenses of Drug Delivery Resulting in Death, and Conspiracy.

Deputies responded to a suspected overdose death in Mount Hope on December 26, 2023.

The case involved a “lengthy investigation,” but the FCSD Detective’s Bureau put together a timeline of events leading up to the victim’s death. Investigators were able to determine that the victim had purchased narcotics from Griffith and Foley and died from an overdose as a result.

Both men were arraigned today in Raleigh County and remanded to Southern Regional Jail to await court proceedings.
