CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — Coleman Hawkins is officially heading to the 2024 NBA Draft.

The Illinois forward announced his decision on X Tuesday afternoon saying "At this time, I feel comfortable enough to move on and start a new journey."

Hawkins played all four years of his college career at Illinois under Coach Brad Underwood.

In the 2023-24 season he played and started in 35 games where he scores 423 total points. He also tallied a total of 212 rebounds and had 37 blocks and 51 steals.
