Green Thumb Festival: St. Petersburg’s annual Arbor Day celebration will have more than 120 garden, plant and flower vendors and exhibitors, as well as a flower show, tool sharpening, a butterfly tent, soil and water testing, mulch and tree giveaways, kids crafts and food trucks on site. Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in the Park: Talking teapots and clocks, an emotionally stunted beast, a whimsical princess — you know the story. American Stage’s park production of the Disney classic runs Wednesdays-Sundays at 7:30 p.m. through May 5. $35-$50. 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday (April 24-28). 2024 Sunscreen Film Festival: Immerse yourself in some of the best independent films from around the world, including documentaries, dramas, comedies and shorts. The Thorn: “The Thorn” tells the story of God’s love for the world and the spiritual battle for all humanity.
