WCSD invites community to meet superintendent finalists

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - The Washoe County School District is inviting people to an event where they can meet the finalists for their superintendent position.

Families, students, and district employees are invited to Wooster High School at 5:00 p.m. on April 25 to meet the five candidates. The event will end at 8:15 p.m.

Each candidate will meet with groups in separate rooms for 30 minutes, where they will answer questions and visit groups representing families, district employees, Student Voice, and the community.

Additionally, this Friday, the Board of Trustees will hold a public meeting where Trustees will interview the candidates beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Board Meeting Room at the WCSD Admin room located at 425 E. Ninth Street in Reno.

The WCSD Superintendent Candidate Evaluation Survey is open to anyone who would like to provide feedback on the candidates and will close to responses May 3.
