The Hilltown Road, Mayobridge is closed between the Edentrumley Road and Mayobridge following a road traffic collision this morning. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative main routes for their journey.

Police are attending a road traffic collision on the outer lane of the M1, approaching J1 Broadway.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, there is a broken down vehicle on lane 2 under the Broadway Underpass.

Belfast Road in Newtownards closed in both directions

The Belfast Rd in Newtownards has been closed in both directions between  Hardford Link and Holywood Rd due to an obstruction across the road.  It is due to a fallen tree.
Road users are advised to avoid the area and if possible seek an alternative route for their journey until cleared.

Trafficwatch NI tweeted at 7.25am: "The Doogary Road in Omagh remains closed this morning, Wednesday 1st May, following a serious road traffic collision. Diversions are in place and an update will be provided in due course."

The road traffic collision on the Shore Road at Oakmount Drive (opposite Fortwilliam Parkk) has been cleared, but delays on the M2 Northbound main carriageway remain.

Shore Road crash causing Belfast-bound delays

A road traffic collision on the Shore Road is causing delays heading into Belfast.
The incident at Oakmount Drive, opposite Fortwilliam Park, has been causing lengthy tailbacks onto the Fortwilliam/M2 interchange.
Motorists can expect delays on the M2 out-of-town off-slip and M2 Northbound main carriageway.

An earlier road traffic collision on the A2 Shore Road at the junction with Glenville Road in Newtownabbey has been cleared. Traffic is now back to normal in the area.

Delays after Belfast crash

There is disruption at the Shore Road in Newtownabbey at the junction with Glenville Road due to a road traffic collision. Traffic is down to one lane heading towards Carrickfergus and one lane towards Belfast city. Drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible and seek an alternative route.
