I’m devastated’: Giants tight end, two-time WNBA star are getting divorced

One of sports’ biggest power couples is no more following just one year of matrimony.

Giants tight end Darren Waller and two-time WNBA champion WNBA star Kelsey Plum are getting divorced, according to multiple reports, including one from the New York Post.

A joint petition for a divorce was filed Tuesday in Clark County, Nevada, according to online records viewed by The Post.

Plum pulled back the curtain on the rocky relationship on Instagram on Tuesday, coinciding with Waller’s TikTok video from January that first hinted at the couple’s troubles.

“I’m devastated,” Plum wrote on Tuesday. “I walked through fire for that man, but now I see it’s time to go. Gad has given me an incredible life, and I’m truly so grateful for the profound love from my family and friends. One day I’ll share my story, today is not that day. Thank you for the grace to process my pain, to forgive and move forward. Today and everyday I will continue to choose joy.”

Waller married Plum on March 4, 2023, at GreenGale Farms in Las Vegas. The couple was first outed by Las Vegas Raiders coach Josh McDaniel, who clumsily revealed their marriage plans during a press conference at the NFL Scouting Combine.

A Pro Bowler in 2020, Waller was traded to the Giants for a compensatory 2023 third-round pick on March 15, 2023. He has 350 catches for 4,124 yards and 20 touchdowns over eight years in the NFL. Meanwhile, Plum has excelled in the WNBA since joining the league in 2017. She is a former Sixth Player of the Year, two-time WNBA All-Star, All-WNBA selection and All-Star game MVP.
