The Loveland Downtown District has announced plans for its 2024 One Sweet Summer event series, featuring a lineup of concerts, events for kids and more.

Activities at The Foundry Plaza in downtown Loveland will be offered from mid-May through the end of August, according to a news release.

Events kick off at 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, May 18, with the Blues and Cruise Car Show, combining a blues music festival and classic car show.

The Road Knights is organizing the car show will accept classic cars prior to 1980 models. The music lineup has not yet been announced.

Wednesday night concerts will be offered weekly from July 10 through Aug. 28. Concert nights will feature local artists, free kids’ art activities, food vendors and downtown craft breweries.

The lineup includes:

​• ​J​u​ly 24​: Chris Daniels & Kings​.

• ​​J​u​ly 31​: Girl Crush Featuring Wendy Woo​.

​• ​A​u​g. 7​: Roka Hueka​.

• ​​A​u​g. 14​: Benny & Taylor’s Honky Tonk Express​.

• ​​A​u​g. 21​: Gasoline Lollipops​.

• ​​A​u​g. 28​: to be announced.

Kids on the Plaza events will take place at noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesdays from June 12 to Aug. 7, with Loveland Parks and Recreation lawn games, local artists with arts and crafts activities, a splash pad and various activities or giveaways from local businesses and organizations. Movies for $2 will follow at 2 p.m. on Wednesdays at the MetroLux Dine-In Theatres at the Foundry.

Yoga classes will be offered at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Saturdays from June 15 to Aug. 31, and Fly Fitness Classes at 8 a.m. Sundays from June 16 through Aug. 25.

An Ice Cream Festival will be held Friday, July 26.

All events in the series are free and open to the public with free parking available in The Foundry parking garage
