Warren, Downriver men charged in Macomb County Sheriff’s drug bust

Fentanyl, cocaine, guns and cash seized

The Macomb County Sheriff’s Enforcement Team seized narcotics, guns and cash and arrested two men in a Warren drug bust April 16.

James Freeman, 41, of Lincoln Park and Christopher Hash, 42, of Warren were both taken into custody without incident.

Approximately 105 grams of fentanyl, four grams of crack cocaine, a Black Taurus 9mm handgun, $3,831 in cash, scales and packaging material, and a Dodge Charger were seized by during the bust.

The two suspects were arraigned in 37th District Court where Freeman was charged with one 20-year felony count of delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance 50 to 449 grams; one 4-year felony count of possession of a controlled substance; and one count of felony firearm. Hash is charged with one 20-year felony count of delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance.

Bond was set at $25,000, no 10% cash/surety for both Freeman and Hash by Judge Steven Bieda.
