Nebraska softball team walks-off twice to sweep Iowa doubleheader

LINCOLN, Neb. (Nebraska Athletics) - The Nebraska softball team swept a doubleheader from Iowa on Tuesday at Bowlin Stadium, posting walk-off wins in both games.
In game one, Bella Bacon had a walk-off two-out double in the eighth inning of Nebraska’s 1-0 victory. Kaylin Kinney threw an 8.0-inning shutout in the circle.
In game two, Iowa rallied from a four-run deficit and scored three times in the top of the seventh inning to take a 6-5 lead. But Ava Bredwell hit a two-out walk-off home run to lift Nebraska to a 7-6 win.
