Syracuse, N.Y. — Twenty Section III teams were featured in the first New York State Sportswriters Association softball rankings.
Six of those teams were ranked in the top 10 of their respective classes. That includes Camden (No. 6 in Class A), Marcellus (No. 8 in Class B), Utica Notre Dame (No. 10 in Class B), Sandy Creek (No. 5 in Class C), Morrisville-Eaton (No. 9 in Class D) and Oriskany (No. 10 in Class D).
